Meet Inanna

For more then 10 years, Inanna Bantu has been creating some of the most stylish looks in Hollywood. Her keen and unique sense of style have led her to work with A list celebs, creating red carpet trends, characters for film, television, print and commercials.

Her career began in fashion, which led to her discovery of passion in story telling, and the impact a character’s costume has on screen. Whether creating everyday characters for commercials and film, or dressing stars for the red carpet, Inanna  is equally adept, and can easily meet the wide range of demands her clients request. She can ascertain creative needs uniquely, as well as manage the logistics of each project and client she encounters.

Inanna’s style is hip, yet timeless, and she is fashion-forward in a way that works well in narrative. She is well respected in the industry, and is considered a confident, fun-loving team player, who has a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. She has a unique eye for her craft, a strong level of professionalism, and is known to go above and beyond client expectations. She is also fast on her feet, and works well under duress.

Inanna has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of clients such as as Tom Cruise, Angela Basset, Rob Thomas, Eva la Rue, to name a few. She has designed several films and TV shows, and has a long list of commercial credits including Toyota, Staples, Verizon, Chevrolet, DirecTV, and Wells Fargo.

Being a native European, who was born and raised throughout Europe and the US, has given Ms. Bantu a keen cultural awareness, which she applies in her work. This is especially the case when given the demands of learning a new culture, and it’s ways of dress.

A recent example of the above is a film Inanna designed called “The Other End of the Line”. Inanna was the US Costume Designer, and the entire film was shot on location in India; she had to quickly learn about traditional Indian garb, and how to outfit the cast in the beautiful, ornate Indian garments. She also learned the art of collaborating with a Director and Co-Designer who were both miles away in India. Inanna is a proud member of the local 892, Costume Designers Guild. She loves to draw inspiration from people watching across the globe.

In addition to her styling work, Inanna recently founded Kidtastic. Kidtastic, Inc. is an organization that focuses on enriching and empowering children’s lives through self-expression and self-awareness.
